Our Code of Conduct

Introduction

Our ESG (Environment Social Governance) program is a crucial part of our vision to be a company whose expertise contributes positively and impactfully to society and the environment. We have strengthened our commitment to our employees, customers, partners, citizens, communities and the planet through three fundamental pillars: environmental impact reduction, inclusion and innovation for a better world. The 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals inspire us in defining our actions and goals.


As Handshakers, we are committed to corporate social responsibility and expect our own organization to comply with this Code of Conduct.


Social considerations


Social sustainability refers to practices that contribute to the quality of life of both our employees and the communities that may be affected by our activities.


In that regard we will:

    Respect all internationally recognized human rights, including the freedom of workers to associate with regard to working conditions and their right to form trade unions, establish works councils and engage in work-related negotiations; Have zero tolerance for modern slavery, child labor, forced labor; Ensure wages , benefits and working conditions that represent fair and equitable remuneration;Providing equal opportunity for all employment, free from prejudice and discrimination;Providing a safe and healthy working environment, working conditions and work equipment for our employees.


Ethical considerations


Ethical sustainability refers to activities or conduct that violate applicable laws against bribery, corruption or money laundering.


We, as Handshakers, will act ethically and be honest, transparent and trustworthy in all our dealings.


This includes:

    Compliance with all relevant laws and regulations; Adopting fair and competitive business practices to prevent corruption, bribery, fraud, money laundering or conflicts of interest; Ensuring the quality and safety of our products and services.


Environmental considerations


Environmental sustainability refers to practices that contribute to the long-term protection of the environment.


We aim to minimize the negative environmental impact of our activities, products and services and encourage the implementation of an environmental management system, in line with recognized standards such as ISO 14001, EMAS (or equivalent).


This includes:

    Consideration of ecosystems and the environment within our business operations; Implementing recycling programs; Reducing our carbon emissions; Ensuring proper waste management; Utilizing renewable energy and resources; Protecting habitats and biodiversity.


Policy implementation


At Handshakers, we encourage the implementation of policies consistent with this Code of Conduct and maintain appropriate documentation to demonstrate compliance, upon request.


If we have reasonable grounds to suspect a violation of this Code of Conduct within our organization, we will take appropriate action to remedy the failure.



 

Budget: Budgets can vary, so we offer flexibility in spreading prospecting costs based on your needs. Before we start, we discuss all details and expectations, including costs, the duration of the collaboration and any specific wishes. We strive for long-term partnerships with flexible options, such as our 'Flex 20' formula, where you can set a defined budget for a certain number of calling days. This provides flexibility and consistency in your collaboration with Handshakers.


Intake: In our introductory meeting we already explore some important aspects, but this is followed by an in-depth intake. We ask questions to arm ourselves with the right ammunition to challenge your customers, make them curious and initiate valuable conversations.

Script: Based on these insights, we develop a tailor-made script that serves as a guideline. The script contains relevant triggers to attract the attention of your potential customers. This leads to interesting conversations. We will discuss the script with you and answer any questions to ensure that all parties are on the same page.

Targets: Once the script is tailored to your needs, we proceed to determining the targets. Depending on your situation, you can use your own database or we can work together to determine the right sales market.

Frequency: You have the flexibility to determine the betting frequency. We recommend using smart planning to avoid any bottlenecks. Together with you we determine the optimal frequency, for example one calling day per week.

Start and ARA Moments: Once everything is coordinated and ready, we start the implementation. Throughout the entire process we hold ARA moments, Analysis, Reporting and Advice, to ensure that everyone is always pointing in the same direction. We closely monitor progress, analyze the results and provide advice where necessary.
